Tip: Before your estimate
we encourage you to have rough specifications of your
project. The best way to visualize and get a feel for
your future basement or attic layout is to use masking
tape on the floor according to your design. Walk
around inside your area to get a feel for the dimensions. 3D
graphics do not provide you with the flow and feel as
much as marking the floor will allow. If you are
serious about your commitment to us, we will come over
a second time. We will then create an exact lay
out of the project. We will apply for permits once the
pre-planning is complete and you are satisfied.
The Whittington Construction Group understands
that most people have budgets for remodeling projects
and we will do everything to make our proposal fit your
budget. We can arrange financing or finance your project
completely.
Tip: Homeowners usually think that
putting a lot of extras in the home will increase its
value. While this may help you sell your home faster,
you’ll be lucky to get the money back that you
spent on fancy extras. It has been our experience to
be moderate with your remodeling demands unless resale
value of your home is not a priority or you plan to stay
in your home for a long time. Remember, the average American
family lives in their home for seven years.
